The GPPA has had meetings with the Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre and the decision has been made to move our General Meeting to their facility. The first meeting will be Thursday February 15th If your not already familiar with the Pomeroy Hotel, it is a premier host of a wide variety of functions over the years and most recently hosted the fund raiser for Premier Danielle Smith and the UCP. The 15th Annual GPPA Hockey Tournament is Oct 26th & 27th the County Sportsplex in Clairmont will once again be the host venue. Entries are almost full and so is Sponsorship Trevor Denis says its gonna be a great time and the weather looks very promising If you are thinking you would like to shoot as a single, show up on Friday night to the Wapiti Shooters club for registration night and the committee will try and find you a spot. We are one week away from one of our premier events. Our Annual Curling Bonspiel is this year being held at the Sexsmith Curling Club in Sexsmith, AB We have been accepting registrations for about a month and out of the 24 teams for the event at the time of this post we have 20. Things kick off with our Registration night on Wednesday the 29th at 6 pm and lots of fun and networking opportunities. Curling starts Thursday morning and continues through to the Championships on Saturday Night. Entertainment every night and tons of prizes due to generosity of …
